Now Accepting Applications for Deputy Sheriff

The Bureau County Sheriff’s Merit Commission will accept applications for Deputy Sheriff during the month of January 2012. Interested individuals must meet all Illinois statutory requirements, the requirements of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Merit Commission and the requirements of the Sheriff of Bureau County. Applications are available at the Bureau County Jail, 22 Park Avenue West, Princeton, Illinois, 61356, and on the Employment page of the website: Employment Information

All applications must be delivered to Bureau County Sheriff John Thompson at 22 Park Avenue West, or, 700 South Main Street, Princeton, Illinois, 61356 prior to or post marked by January 31, 2012.
